Quest Instructions

(last solved and updated: July 2021)

Important Note:During this quest and all throughout Atlanta, you will encounter vehicles, drivers, politicians, thugs, etc. They're trying to kill you, but it seems they're all relatively low class (ranging from class 100 - 9k). They do not seem to follow you throughout the area, they're just in abundance. Feel free to move along with the quest steps and ignore them if you prefer.

1. From Science, travel to Atlanta - <enter, u, 3e, d, e, path, 3n, 12e, road>
2. Seek out Mr. Johnson - <3s, 2w, say job>

   Mr. Johnson says: There is a datachip in the basement of Kord Mutual, left there years ago by a scientist who has since defected to the company I am representing. We would like it back, and I am authorized to pay 10,000 coins for its return.

3. <2e, 2s, e, 9s, 2w, kill cowboy>

   8k : Cowboy the netrunner

4. <get door remover, 2e, 9n, e, 5n, 4e, d, activate remover>

   Locrian extends the remover towards the booth and a glowing beam descends.

5. <u, 4w, 5s, 4e, 7s, 2w, s, kill member> (continue killing all of the Gang Members in this room)

   14k : A grungy Green Lightning Gang Member
   2k : A Green Lightning gang member

6. <s, remove door, u, kill leader>

   49k : A large Green Lightning gang leader

7. <get passcard, d, 2n, 2e, 11n, 2e, 2n, e, s, kill leader> (continue killing all of the Gang Members in this room)

   7k : A huge F.T.S.! gang member
   7k : A huge F.T.S.! gang member
   6k : A huge F.T.S.! gang member
   7k : A huge F.T.S.! gang member
   5k : A huge F.T.S.! gang member
   393 : A stocky F.T.S.! gang member
   3k : A large F.T.S.! gang member
   342 : A young F.T.S.! gang member

8. <activate passcard>

   Locrian extends the passcard towards the booth and a glowing beam descends.

9. Travel to the parking garage - <n, w, 3s, 2w, 3s, 2w, 3n, 2e, n>
10. Continue traveling through the parking garage, up to level 5 - <2w, 3s, 2n, e, n, 2s, e, s, 2w, 2n, insert passcard, n, kill drone>

    19k : A patrol drone

11. Get the sword and the datachip - <2n, get sword, d, get datachip>
12. Leave the garage - <u, 2s, push button, 3s, 3e, 2n, 2w, 2s, 2w, 2e, 2n, e, 2w, 3s, 5e, activate datachip>

    Locrian extends the datachip towards the booth and a glowing beam descends.

13. Return to Mr. Johnson - <9w, 2n, 2w, give chip to johnson>

    Mr. Johnson thanks you.
    
    Mr. Johnson pays 10000 coins for the retrieval of the data.
