<questlist 85> / <questlist megatech>

A group of concerned citizens has evidence that the president of D.C.Megatech has been dumping toxic chemicals into the barrens of Atlanta. The media refuses to carry the story, it is suspected that Arnold Hesler, the President, has paid serious hush money to keep the story quiet. The group, having no other alternative, has decided to request your services. Kill Hesler, thereby saving the Barrens from further toxic pollution.

You may party on this quest, but beware of the traps that Hesler and others have set. Be forewarned that he will not be very easy to get to.

YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTY ON THIS QUEST but it is by no means a requirement.

  29. It has been said that the correct panel moves per player. Below are the locations it's been found for floor 300.
    1. <2n, 2w, 3s, search, look at panel> (Alternatively, you can also skip searching and simply <look at panel> in every room for the remainder of the quest and still obtain the same result.)
You search all around you and notice a small dull smooth looking panel on the east wall.

Correct Panel: This is a smooth black plastic panel. The little light that is here reflects off of it's surface as if it has been polished. A small green display behind the panel flashes the word [Ready] at you. There is also a small slot to one side of the panel. It looks as if something could be inserted into it.

Incorrect Panel: This is a smooth black plastic panel. Large words in bold red lettering read:
[Security System Activated. Intruders Detected. All Primary and Secondary Security Systems Have Been Engaged. Control Lockout Sequence In Progress.]
You notice nothing else about the panel.
    2. If it is not in the location listed above, continue to <search> each room on floor 300 to find the correct panel. You will encounter many mobs along your journey (too many to list. However, the class size is not above 41k. Once you've found the correct panel, proceed to the next step.
  30. Remember to <examine the front of the passkey> to ensure you have the Restricted Access Level: 3 passkey. Once you do, <insert passkey> - your passkey disappears once you use it.
You insert the passkey into the slot on the panel and hear a low pitched humming sound begin. Suddenly seams in the wall that you hadn't noticed before begin to break away and a large door slides smoothly open.
  31. This is a 3-part step -
    1. <look> - You'll need to note your new direction that opened up in the wall and travel that direction.
    2. <push button> Now travel the direction that the elevators opened ...wait for the elevator doors slide shut.
    3. <push button 350> ...wait
  32. <2w, s, 6e, n, search, look at panel> - (Make sure it's the correct panel, refer to the previous step which indicates the Correct Panel and Incorrect Panel descriptions to see what the correct vs incorrect looks like; and if you did not find your panel in this room, continue to <search> in each room.)
You search all around you and notice a small dull smooth looking panel on the east wall.
  33. Again, make sure it's the correct panel and remember to <examine the front of the passkey> to ensure you have the Restricted Access Level: 5 passkey. Once you do, <insert passkey>
You insert the passkey into the slot on the panel and hear a low pitched humming sound begin. Suddenly seams in the wall that you hadn't noticed before begin to break away and a large door slides smoothly open.

You search all around you and notice a small dull smooth looking panel on the east wall.
  36. Just like in steps 28 and 31, remember to <examine the front of the passkey> to ensure you have the Restricted Access Level: 7 passkey. Once you do, <insert passkey>
You insert the passkey into the slot on the panel and hear a low pitched humming sound begin. Suddenly seams in the wall that you hadn't noticed before begin to break away and a large door slides smoothly open.
  37. This is a 3-part step -
    1. <look> - You'll need to note your new direction that opened up in the wall and travel that direction.
    2. <push button> Now travel the direction that the elevators opened ...wait for the elevator doors slide shut.
