About
Reputation, or more commonly referred to as 'reps', is a value that represents your standing with a group, faction or area on 3K. Reps can influence purchasing power within these groups, conversation topics with NPC's, access to trusted locations and more. Typically reputation can increase or decrease depending on mobs killed that have some connection to the corresponding reputation, but can also be linked to other activities like rescuing a puppy for example. Reps are not shared between characters.

Your reputation with various factions around 3K may vary. Check the
factions with which you have had contact, and how they feel about you,
with the reps command.

Syntax: reps [-short]
This command shows you your reputation with various factions in the
game. Depending on how well liked or hated you are with a particular
group could impact your dealings with them.
The bar graph conveniently provided for you shows your progress within
a given faction. Further to the left is nearing a more hostile status
while further to the right is nearing a friendlier status.
The '-short' argument will display the output without the graph section.

being even more hated than you are to being more liked. Similarly you
are smack dab in the middle of neutral for Pinnacle Tower.
Note: In many cases reputation is used as a point system or currency. In
these cases you can partake of your good favor to acquire items
for free (no coin cost) or nearly free, this will reduce your
reputation based on the level of hospitality you've partaken.
