The duties of a Leader vs. an Admin
The Admin are the day to day administrators of the guild. They have
the power to punish and restrict members, and they should be listened
to because of that authority. In addition, they converse regularly
with the guild wizards. They suggest new powers, fixes to old powers,
and have the ability to update the help and recall files.
The Leaders are the guild's foremost helpers and mediators. They, like
the admin, are here to answer questions and help the rest of the bards.
They also propose new powers but generally to the admin of the guild,
as well as mediate discussions and problems that arise.
There is a somewhat fine line between the two, but Leader is basically
a pre-cursor to being an Admin, if and only if you are very good at
what you do.
As for how you become a Leader... You must impress the Admin and the
other Leaders, at which point they may suggest you be added to the
ranks and put you up for Wizard review.
Both these positions are very important to the survival of the guild,
and because of such are only given to players who are willing to go
that extra mile for their fellow Bards; be it recruiting new members,
helping to acquire equipment, offering advice to questions, or just
offering encouragment to those who are in need. Because of this it is
adamant that a guild Leader or Admin log on regularly. One can not
successfully help the guild if you do not log on for days at a time.
It is for this reason that if a player in these positions can not
fulfill this requirement, he/she may be demoted.
