Important Quest Note: This tree moves, however, here is one location for an axe so that when you find the old red oak tree, you can chop it down.

  1. You need an axe, here's how to get one. Find the mirror for Peasant Farm - from newbie bin: <4s, u, n, ne, enter mirror 3>
  2. <4e, s, climb tree, examine nest, get axe>
  3. Return to Newbie bin.
  4. You need to locate the tree now.
    1. Find the mirror for Dark Forest - from newbie bin: <4s, u, n, nw, enter mirror 4> - now wander the area looking for the red oak tree. <chop tree>
    2. Find the mirror for Land of Newbies - from newbie bin: <4s, u, 2n, enter mirror 5>. The tree may be in this area (link to map of Land of Newbies here. Once you find it, <chop tree>
    3. Please let us know other good areas you've found the tree.
