No teleport/hmflee zone.
This area is inside Murus Faralain and is a no teleport/hmflee zone. It's also home to the famous Isleth the Widowmaker. A sword that has progress linked to your character.
(learn about other linked items here)

Isleth the Widowmaker, found within the Symbearn Crypt inside Murus Faralain, is a sword belonging to the house of the Symbearn elves. With continued use, you're able to unlock special abilities with the sword. Continued use does not necessarily mean wielding it, it means that once you find the sword and <draw sword> is how you slowly begin to unlock the extra abilities.

After 15 draws, you're able to decipher the first rune as being "No-break":
::-::  - Is the rune of eternity.

After 30 draws, you're able to decipher the second rune as being "100 Weapon Class":
_/_  - Is the rune of sharpness.

After 60 draws, you're able to decipher the third rune as being "'lifespring' heal":
\-//   - Is the rune of lifespring.

After 100 draws, you're able to decipher the final rune as being "stun" (at this time, the stun has not been successful on an enemy yet):
~||~ - Is the rune of paralysis.

Where to get it

  6. <get dagger, cut hand, enter, e, kill figure>
  7. <kill bladesinger>
294k : Kathaelis, the Master Bladesinger
Standing before you with the poise of a snake about to strike, stands an elven warrior. With skin unusually pale and stretched taunt over his bones, he looks rather dishevelled and skeletal. Two red points of light where his eyes should be clearly indicate that he is some kind of undead, possibly even a baelnorn. Seeming at ease, he stands before you, his hand resting upon one of the two swords hooked into his sword belt, passively watching your movements.
    He is in perfect health.
    He is a caster.
His melee attacks do crushing damage.
    Kathaelis is carrying:
A sheathed sword in an ancient scabbard.

Note: THIS SCABBARD IS BIND ON PICKUP
  8. <get scabbard>
A sheathed sword in an ancient scabbard
The golden hilt of an ancient longsword rests patiently in an ancient scabbard of elvish design, the blade hidden completely by the scabbard. Glancing down at the scabbard, you feel your hands drawn to the sword's hilt, tempting you to draw the sword.
This item is bound to you.
    It looks light.
  9. <draw sword>
Feeling the tension in the air, you grasp onto the sword's hilt and try to yank the sword free. With a slow metallic hiss the sword slides free of the scabbard, like some ancient animal awakened from its slumber.

Isleth the Widowmaker (enchanted) flashes brilliantly when picked up!

    Isleth the Widowmaker (enchanted)
This is Isleth the Widowmaker, an ancient elven moonblade crafted by the weaponsmiths of Myth Drannor for the elven family Symbaern. Perfectly balanced with a razor sharp edge this elven longsword, is an instrument of death in the hands of an experienced warrior. As you turn the blade over in your hands the four ancient elven runes etched into the blades silvery surface seem to sparkle with the promise of power as yet undiscovered, why not inspect them.
This item is bound to you.
This weapon is in excellent condition.
    This weapon deals edged damage.
    This weapon's classifications: 55 (edged)
This weapon gains benefits from your sword weapon skill.
You must be level 25 to wield this weapon.
    It looks heavy.
  10. <inspect runes>
Note: As mentioned above, you'll be able to uncover the secrets of each rune with continued use and unlock the swords abilities.
As you gaze along the length of this legendary blade, you can make out four runes. Although your knowledge of elven rune magic isn't great, you none the less try to decipher their meaning.

::-::  - The nature of this rune is beyond you.
_/_  - The nature of this rune is beyond you.
\-//   - The nature of this rune is beyond you.
~||~ - The nature of this rune is beyond you.
  11. To wield the sword, you must also retrieve the amulet. Travel <w, out, w, u, 4w, u, out, s, 2e, 3s, sw, 6s, sw, s, e, n, 3ne, e, 2s, e, 3ne, 3e, se, e, se, e, se, 5e, d, search skeleton, keep amulet, wield sword>
  12. Return to Fantasy: <u, e, 5se, e, 5se, e, n, w, portal>

Lore of Isleth the Widowmaker (enchanted)

Forged in a time before the creation of Myth Drannor, the moonblades were the pinnacle of elven weaponsmithing. This particular blade is known as Isleth and was forged for the Symbaern family. Such was the skill at arms of the swords first master, Erevan Symbaern that the sword quickly earned its nickname - the widowmaker.

Prior to visiting this area, it is advised that you locate a pickaxe or a crowbar in order to gain access to a few rooms. Crowbar can be located in the OJ Cow area within Chaos. Once inside the tomb, travel <d, smash through wall> (continue to <smash through wall> until it crumbles and you can proceed east). As you find the twilight gear and the eye, it is said that it needs to be 'charged', by killing the enemies in the area.

As Sumaren collapses their essence destroyed, you notice a thin trail of energy being drawn from Sumaren's corpse into the platemail, as if the platemail were feeding on Sumaren's lifeforce.
